About Us

Foundation for the Development of Creative Industries HAUBA was established in 2013 by young, ambitious and creative people from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Foundation is run and managed by its President and a Board of Directors. All the members of the Foundation have ample previous experience in working as freelancers and in project implementation. Foundation HAUBA members has been a part of the creative industries sector for the past twenty years and has implemented projects that have received both international and national funding.

Primary goal of this Foundation is to support the development of our community by creating job opportunities for young, creative people, helping them create a network and building connections between them and public and private sector to their mutual benefit.

One of the most important objectives of the Foundation has been to open a co-working space that, like in many other cities around Europe and the world, provides a joint space to young, creative people where they can fully express their potential and get the opportunity to place their ideas on the market. 

Our first co-working space HAUBA was officially opened for work in October 2014. It is a modernly and creatively furnished space that simultaneously seats 15 people, provides a pleasant work environment and fast Internet and gathers a very diverse group of co-workers. In order to constantly improve our services, members of the Foundation HAUBA have already visited co-working spaces in the Western Balkans region and have established contacts with them. Users of the co-working space HAUBA are mostly freelancers in different fields of art and creative industries.
